My co-teacher walks in the room and greets my class.
Co-teacher: Good morning, children!
Kids: Good morning, Teacher!
Girl #1: We made apples.
Girl #2: We read a story about an ambulance.
(Co-teacher notices the little boy giggling in one corner. She approaches him.)
Co-teacher: Hi! You didn't greet me yet.
Little boy stops giggling and looks up at her.
Little boy: Hi. Happy birthday.
